2 Peter 1:13–15

And I will also be diligent that at any time after my departure you will be able to call these things to mind.

We want to be diligent so that the coming generation can bring to mind the things that we have so valued: knowing our God and Savior, experiencing and receiving the great grace that we have known and experienced, and passing it along to the generations after them.

If we don’t lay these foundations for the future, we’re living with cut flowers in vases, not orchards that yield fruit for the future.

We’re looking for people who want to invest twofold: for eternity and for the glory of God in this world, which has a short window of opportunity to seize.

Psalm 90:1-2

Lord, You have been our dwelling place in all generations. Before the mountains were born or You gave birth to the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, You are God.

God is our dwelling place, from everlasting to everlasting. We want to see future generations well accommodated when they take refuge in God. With the resources He has given us, we want to see Him glorified.
